Invocon
designed the
Wireless Data Acquisition System for Structural
Monitoring and Evaluation to evaluate the
performance of bridge structures under transient loads.
The networked system can support up to 60
wireless stress/strain, acceleration, or temperature
sensors.
U.S. Coast Guard
Invocon
is currently working on a Phase I Small Business
Innovation Research (SBIR) program from the U.S. Coast
Guard to develop the
ESBAWM (Entire-Ship Ballast Autonomous Wireless Monitor)
System to measure and log ballast water levels.
This will allow the Coast Guard to protect our seaports
from non-native organism transport in ship ballasts by
assuring that a deep-ocean water exchange has removed or
eliminated alien organisms.
