Invocon on STS-124

Space Shuttle Discovery
This was the twenty-ninth flight of Invocon hardware on the Space Shuttle. During STS-124 mission, the Discovery crew will be attaching the Japanese Kibo Module to the International Space Station along with doing some station repairs.

Enhanced Wide-Band Micro-Miniature Tri-axial Accelerometer Unit
This
is the tenth flight of the EWB MicroTAU system, a high-speed data acquisition
network for dynamic acceleration sensing and recording. On STS-124, 44
units are being used to detect, locate, and characterize impacts on the RCC panels on
the wing leading edge.
