Description

Candidate will perform electrical design associated with new and existing products. This will entail designing and configuring engineered solutions for a variety of industries and applications including: communications, aerospace, wireless data acquisition, "smart" sensors, condition-based maintenance, RF Networking, and micro-miniature sensors.

• System Integration & Conceptual Design

Gain experience in some or all of the following areas:

• Analog and Digital Signal Processing
• High Frequency/RF Design
• Assembly language programming
• C/C++
• PCB Layout using CAD Tools
• Technical Support of Marketing Activities
• Logic Design.

Master's candidates should have project work and/or coursework in logic design, digital system design, analog system design, and/or communications theory & design. Demonstrated systems analysis experience leading to a specific system design approach is very desirable. This analysis should include considerations of hardware, software, and all other issues needed to derive a product.
